• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hi as kelly mentioned we are specializing in our areas of strenght and I have been working on a new website with more products for huskys with the application specialized for particular models. Please check out the new website www.motosportzhusqvarna.com and feel free to give me input on making the site better. The site is still under construction and stuff will continue to be added for weeks. The site is operational so stuff can be purchased or special requests can be emailed. Thanks for helping, Motosportz Mike.

The website looks good so far, easy to find things for a specific bike. I see a few things that are tempting!.

New site looks good to me ... and most if not all pages are only 2 levels deep of information ...

The font on the motorcycle selections is difficult to read. Then again, I'm on my phone so I'm sure it is great on a PC. Site really looks great though!

WE worked to try and make it readable but you are the second person to mention it and I agree with you. May have to something else with it, just not sure what yet. Thanks !

Our intent was to make it easy to find the parts you need at a reasonable price along with great service of course. I seen many posts about "I ordered a gizmo and it turns out it doesn't fit my bike".
Over time the website will continue to grow. I already have several ideas on how to improve, but I must finish the current building first.

I like it! I also agree about the font.

So the items without a paypal link have not been added yet, but will become available?

Site looks good- clean, simple (in an easy to use way) and direct...

But, but, I can't see a Terra 650 button... Yet!

It's no big deal cause the bikes aren't even for sale in Aus. Yet...

But it's the anticipation that's killing me!!!

God luck with it all- I like what your doing and where you say you are heading... I'm sure we'll be doing some business together soon enough...

Hi Andrew, almost everything is in stock weather it has a button or not. We are working on the next update that will include more pics, palypal buttons, & more items as well.

Looking good Mike. As stated Mike and I are separating the two sides of what we do, Stuff we build will still be here... http://www.motosportz.com/ and that site will be changing soon too. This is where you will find the rotor guards, damper and other hard parts we build. Mike will be handing the sourced parts. That way I can be free to concentrate on the CNC parts as originally planned. Sorry if some of this seems convoluted it is just the simplest most efficient way for us to sort this out in the face of a tough economy and need for efficiency and overhead costs.

Thanks
Kelly (owner of Motosportz)
