• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

New Husky Picture Gallery and press release.

I know they're probably just rebadged KTM's but they do look kinda sexy. I'm assuming there's more to come as in TE's and TR's or in other words bikes with lights and plates ? Here we go, the new era has begun.

Get yer 2014 KTM to Husqvarna conversion kits here! Kit includes: husqvarna plastics from the late 1990's... and that's it. At least the kit will be cheap.

White blue and yellow bergs just as promised. But all seem to have linkage  Maybe our banter here helped make that happen (highly doubt it)

and a 125 it seems, hope we get that here.

So, where did the "Italian" Husqvarna machinery disappear to? I guess that question should wait a while...

Dont really like the yellow fork guards and heads but it's not horrible.

The new web site is up as well...

Yeah that's the worst part but blue wheels will help break it up :). I'm sure black and white guards will be available. You still have the dream line up at home, no need to fuss over this crap lol.
I have to admit, I'm liking the thought of a 449 and te300 next to each other but I have years to figure that out lol

I like a couple of things -- I like linkage. I've ridden a KTM XC and like the linkage better than my PDS. Its not a huge difference, but I prefer th linkage. Also like the way the bikes look -- a throwback to my 1986 bike.

That being said, I think my 250 XC-W will last one mrore season -- I'll wait until 2015 to see if there is any further evolution. I am looking for something a bit more distinctive. Keeping my fingers crossed to see if something comes my way. Nice looking bikes though.

Linkage and a 125 headed for the States... I imagine the guy at the top listened to the banter here.

I think he is serious about the mighty/historic H. Sacrificed Husaberg. Went back to the future with the color scheme. (I love the Swede colors)

Now give me a 4T with a license plate please.

If that is a rebadged KTM 125 its not an easy task to convert it to a WB165 type machine. Guys are doing it over on KTMtalk, but its spendy, much more so then the WB165 conversion.

That would be too bad if the Husqvarna based 125/144 is gone.

Yes I notice no DS. I would guess that is only the case at this time. I imagine the FE line will be fitted with license plates for the 2015+ models. I SURE DO HOPE SO! Or I will have to go Beta 4T when It is my time to buy a new DS. I just do not want to ride an orange bike.
