• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hey all,
I just wanted to let everyone know that DECAL WORKS (pretty much known to be the #1 company in custom graphics) is making AWESOME graphics for the Husky's**************************************** Decal Works is one of my many GREAT sponsors for the 2009 season and they created some awesome looking custom graphics for me. Below is the proof of my graphics for the 2009 season along with a couple off proofs he sent me. Be sure to check them out if anyone is interested in new graphics! My contact there told me they are finalizing the Louver graphics right now for the Husky's which is pretty cool (the Louver I am talking about is the plastic roost protector/fins on the front side of the radiators). Anyways, thought I would share!

Decal Works in fact does have the templates for the 2008-2009 Husqvarna TC 450 and are ready to print/ship (everything you see in the pics are templates for the '08-'09 TC 450 including shrouds, number plates, fenders, etc.). Sorry, but I don't know what other models use the same plastics as the bike listed above. Obviously, these templates are for the plastics off that bike therefore if the plastics are the same as XXX then the graphics would fit that bike. I was talking to my guy at Decal Works and he said that they are finalizing A BUNCH of other Husky templates including Headlight models and 2-strokers as we speak. I would say just to get on their website www.decalmx.com and shoot them an e-mail. I would guess the more interest that is shown in other models, the quicker they will get them done! Thanks for the interest and if you don't mind, PLEASE let them know that Blake Young sent you their way for Husky graphics. Thanks again and can't wait for the season to begin****************************************!!

Blake,

Those look really good. I'm not sure which one's I like the best. I guess the last ones if I have to choose;) Glad to hear decal works is starting to release some husky stuff.

I think they made a good effort. Not sure if I am wild over the business of them as the bike looks so nice just kinda simple and angular to my eye. The graphics make it look busy and kind of distract you from the nice stock lines. I do like them overall though. One of the best efforts for husky so far IMHO.

Appreciate the kind words from all. The series that is shown here is called a T-4 Series. Within a couple weeks we should have 4-5 different series available for the majority of models and years.

I have had a long passion for Husqvarna motorcycles stemming back to the mid 70's. My last Husky was a 00' TC570 which I loved. Unfortunately I broke my knee and pelvis and sold the motorcycle concentrating more on vintage racing.

This site looks great and glad to have found it.

I concur.
I question if they will peel like the stock decals. With the way the decals are on Husky's -narrow and small on alot of curves in heavy use areas- I can see the stickiest of decals peeling.

Yep, couldn't have said it better myself. I think the Husky is one of the best looking bikes out there, and one of the reasons is the clean lines.
Gotta have flashy stuff on a race bike, though, I guess.

They are nice looking, though.

I would think they will stick very well. Decal has been doing it for a long time and the last few sets from them I installed were impressive, sticky and thick yet flexible. Clean the crap out of your plastic before installing and i bet they will be very long lasting. They are about 4 times thicker than the stock graphics and the glue they use is VERY sticky.
