    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

New 2011 TE 310 owner with questions

I order the 2012 TXC310 ECU. I already have a 12 hole injector. With any luck I will have it installed this weekend and report back..
 
Update: I got the 2012 TCX310 ecu and kawi 12 hole injector installed. No tuning or resetting of the TPS - just bolted it in and went riding. It now runs like it should! Power is much improved on the bottom. It no longer bogs off idle. In 30 miles of single track today no stalls at all. You no longer have to rev it to get good power. It is happy to be ridden a gear high and chug along. With a 2100 rpm idle I can actually get the bike moving without giving it any gas at all!

230 miles on the clock. Loving the rear suspension, still may go one softer on the front spring.
 
Shoot, I JUST got home from a long day which included picking up my '11 310 with the upgrades. I logged on to respond and saw you already had it. The shop that had "the kit" in stock actually had a TXC 250 kit. The tech tried that box, then tried another box (not sure which one) then tried the box from the '12 TXC310. He said that the TXC310 box was absolutley the box to go with (makes sense) so he left that box in it. I only got to ride it for 5 minutes today at their shop and it now RIPS. First things I noticed was that second gear FINALLY has some guts to it************************************************************************************************************************ No more excessive feathering of the clutch to get a response. The bike now pulls hard and I kept thinking "Why would anyone ride a 450 when this thing makes this much useable power?"

The tech did reset the TPS but left the COs at 100.

When I upgrade to a PC or FMF, I'll just get it from them and they will adjust the COs as needed. It pays to buy from a shop that cares about making their bikes run the best they can and will take the time to assist costumer.

VERY, VERY pleased with the upgrade and will NOT be getting the so-called "matched exhaust" since I'm convinced that the aftermarket exhausts are superiour.
 
$326 was just for the ECU. The injector was about $55. So, $380 sounds right. The part # for just the 2012 TCX310 ECU is 8000h7424.

that is good then, the 8000h7557 is a kit part # for the ecu and the 12 port together I have the akrapovic full exhaust (2009,20011 tc 250 # s-hu2mr2-qt) cant weight till the kit gets here ,im hopping it will wake up my te 310

I have fitted a full Akropovic to my 2011 TE310 standard injector and ECU. A lot more power every where had it on a dyno it runs a weak mixture up 3600 rpm, then is ok to 8500 then goes very weak again. They said they could not tune it much with the Husky dealer soft wear.
So not sure wether to just fit 12 hole injector £54 as most peoples prob's with them is to rich at botom end as mine is weak might get away with it?

I will be intrested in how yours runs when you fit the new ECU / Injector as it is tuned for the Leo.

A few bike details: 110 hours, 13/45 gearing gives me 50mph at about 6500 rpm and i think 60mph at 8000. 10500 76mph ish for none tech trails i will be putting a 14 on the front.
