  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to share the news that PRO CIRCUIT will on fact be making complete exhaust systems for the new TC 250 (and TXC assuming they are the same). The guy I spoke with said they will be available for sale within 5 weeks. Just thought it was pretty cool!

The stock stuff is pretty sweet. The TXC and TE will need the lamba sensor mount.
 
That exactly what I was thinking. Noe hopefully smaller companies will see that the Big Boys are stepping so maybe others will follow suit. Hopefully they think
about the Husky inother dept other than just exhaust ( offset clamps, internal suspension parts, andjust all the other cool pieces they have). Not that I'm complaining, just hopefully they consider.
 
Jardine offers their TC exhaust on their website.

I just ordered a LEO VINCE X3 complete system. I will install it and report back when it gets here.

A Leo for a new 2010 bike? Didn't know those were available yet.
 
Leo Vince has one for the "09 TC250" which never materialized in NA. I am sure that it will fit the 10 just fine.
 
They've been working with the WEC guys this past season, so should have something good.

Good to see PC looking at Husky's again. I remember when they started and they where really giving Husky's tiered old designs some needed "CPR".
 
I don't like how loud the Husky's are getting and I am glad to see FMF is making the Q4 for the 2010 TE250. I'll probably pick one up if/when I get a 2010 TE250. I just hope the performance difference isn't so great that I need to have iBeat adjusted. Not that I don't want more ponies, I just don't want to have to spend too much time tinkering with EFI.

Yes Leo Vince application for the TC 2009 will fit, but the write me that their system will boost mid and high end power, so check what you are looking for, Arrow will sell a complete system also via Husqvarna dealers as a special part.
FMF is only selling canisters.
Jardine exhaust is on developing a full system with Ty Davis with a resonance chamber (should be for boosting the low end power!!!) but they are not on sale yet.
No news from akrapovic yet.

Unfortunately, they are on b/o from FMF with an unknown ETA.
 
I will let my son know that at least he has options for the new 2010 TC250 I just picked up for him. Thanks for the insite.
 
I wonder if we all call FMF if that will help. I asked them about a mega bomb and they told me they were going to see how the silencers sell for the Husky. I think they would sell more with the mega bomb.
