• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Almost ready. need to smooth the edges, drill some mounting holes and sort some hardware. Built 6 to test and building a production batch now. I am really happy with these. Fit like a glove and are super strong and full coverage. Just want I wanted.

You have to be making one to fit your new 04 125 right ! Hint.. Hint

Sent an email, I really need to get on the waiting list for one of these****************************************!!

HOLY FREAKING SMOKES**************************************** I dropped by Kelly's place to pick up my 165 kit, and he showed me fit on the skidplate... He is still working out the mounting hardware, but the way it fits is nothing short of spectacular!!! I CAN NOT WAIT to bolt mine on!!! Welds are perfect, looks about as beefy as they get, and fits like a glove.... Sign me UP!!!

I had the same thoughts when I grabbed one to test fit it to Ben's 2011. Sadly it was not even close to fitting the 2011 frame, but when I held it up to the 2009 it fit like a glove.

Can't wait to see it with all the mounting hardware.

Later,

Testing is done, a few changes are made and we are running the production runs now.

Yes, I would say they are WELL tested... I did beat the crap outta mine, and I think Jason beat his skid plate up even more!

I was just looking at mine... Held up very, very well to the 100+ step-ups we encountered and conquered!

I'm sure yours is close behind! You should of been on the official "Motosportz Testing Unit" (MTU) last week in MOAB....

My spring riding plans and pretty much any plans at all have been completely trashed this year. I hope to make it to Moab this fall.......I will make it Moab this fall. I really want to see if we can get a gathering going for October-Early November this year in Moab.
