  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I just stopped by the new Husky dealer GOAZ. Awesome dealership with lots of cash, it is owned by GoDaddy. There is even an older godaddy girl at the front desk:D They have at least 1 of all the 2010 models except a CR125. They did not show it on their price list for available bikes. I heard 2009 bikes were not imported but I thought some dealers had the 2010 models in stock. What is the deal with the CR's?

The 2010 CR125 is readily available. My dealer just ordered one for me(to replace my recalled '09 CR125)and it only took 3-4 days to arrive.I'm picking it up on thursday.
There is no shortage or lack of supply of that model it's just the dealers not wanting to stock a slow mover for their particular location/setup.
Oh and another dealer in my state has one in stock as well and is not looking to stock anymore after he sells the one he has.Obviously in today's moto world 125 motocrossers are not exactly the fastest movers for any dealers.

kinda true. I believe husky NA just brought some in because some dealers asked for them. Should not be real hard to get with low demand.

Trust me they are not hard to get as the other NJ dealer who has one didn't ask for or request one.

The Scottsdale dealership is supposed to call me today if they can get a CR125. It looks like some places have big discounts preparing for the CR150 coming out.
