• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Anyone going ? I will be on row 55E. Rik Smits will also be there. Rik tells me that he will be riding this years ISDE in Finland on the Dutch ISDE Team ! ON A HUSQVARNA !

I am just a couple of rows ahead of you. Havent decided what I am riding. 250 Gasser or TE449.

Come visit me in the back then, good old row 113. Please be gentle to the trail and try not to cause any more sand whoops. Maybe put a rake on the back of that 449.

Row 52 on the berg. ISDE in finland this summer also.

Plan on riding at carolina adventure park the week after...whats it like? I want to get the TC out on the track...

Sandy ther but not whooped out. Rode it last year and the locals have the whole sand brake slide turn down to a science, If you hear a loud "whoo-who" going into a tight turn..give heed!

Conditions were great. I started off weak and finished strong. Suspension was perfect. Jetting still has a hitch at 1/4 throttle now. Maybe a richer Throttle slide will help. I finished 11th out of 43. I was way down in 21st position after first section but got faster in every section. Was 5th or 6th in my last section. Race just wasn't long enough, LOL.

Were you racing the 167? If so, how was it? Did you have the 36 PWK carb on? Just curious on your bike set up for this race?

So far it is still a stock top end. I may install the modified PV before the next National. My jetting and impressions are in the Jetting sticky and the Bog thread. I plan on doing changes one step at time so I will know what makes the biggest change. I just got my FMF pipe too.
