• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

National Enduro Rd# 3, NATRA (Rad Dad Enduro)

I will be there. Not sure what row, but I see that they cashed my check a few weeks ago so I guess I am in....

Do you have a rider list?

AA rider and influence with the wife? You indeed are doubly talented!

Nobody else attending the Tenn. Nat'l Enduro ? Looks like perfect riding conditions. 80% of rain Monday, 60% chance Friday. Little to no chance over the weekend. High of 61 degrees Saturday and 67 Sunday ! Perfect riding ********************************************************************************!!!

Finished Packing.... Leaving out about 3am. Westpoint, Tn got 2.75" of rain today ! Windy ( good drying conditions) tomorrow. 15-25mph. Still, I am glad I am on an early row. The Lil Husky is ready to go !

Was wondering what happened to TC. Saw he was running just up ahead of you in 1st section then dropped back like 10 spots in 2nd section and then done.

First section is usually my worse as I need a bit to loosen up. Section 4 I pulled over for Mullens an hit a small hidden log that defected me into a sapling, knocking my headlight off but not breaking it. It was still bolted but loose at bottom. I spent about a minute and a half putting it back on before continuing. It cost me a couple positions. Being on row 19 sucked as I had to pull over for at least 10 riders in most sections. I know it cost me time. I am glad I am on row 15 for the Arkansas Nat'l Enduro. I have former Husky Factory Rider Greg Davis on my row in Ark. He and I used to bang bars in the ISDT Qualilfiers on 125s.
As for TC he had a flat tire. He came to me at the gas to borrow a 12mm allen so he could remove the front wheel. That has to be the crappest thing on the Husky. Having to use such a large allen wrench to remove the axle nut. They should have used a normal nut or at least supplied a special wrench to remove the allen nut. TC wanted to ride the last of the enduro for fun . I believe he did. TC is riding a TXC250 .

Dwight check the aftermarket suppliers for a hex head(male) "screw" replacement for the "allen" head (female). Some of the sponsors here have them, I have a red anodized Motosportz on on mine, also ZipTy has one with a magnet press fitted in so you can "stick it" onto your frame while doing work and not drop the thing on the ground, but its a 3/8 square wratchet fitting(not trail practical).

My choice is this one, been on for a couple of years and although hammered its still hanging in there,

Great to see Greg back and running strong. Last I saw him he did not look too good. He was on a YZ 125 at the Maine National enduro and he whailed his foot and toes real bad....darn near hacked them off through the boot. I was pitted right near him and helping the docs out when he was getting in the meat wagon and it did not look good. I helped pack his stuff up and load his truck and get keys to responsible party. Glad to see he is still cranikng and hopefully on a 125. He was the bomb back in the early 80's on Husky 125s and still likes 125's too (alas they are blue ones)
Great to see one of my heroes (4X baby!) TC back on a Husky. So smooth and a pleasure to watch.
