• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Mylers Supercool Radiators

Mercury264

Husqvarna
AA Class
Anybody tried them ?

Anybody know if 2010 TE radiators are the same as 2007 TE radiators ? They don't list a radiator for my 2007 TE 510, only 2010 TE models and they didn't know if the one they have would fit mine.

Edit: As someone kindly pointed out, it's actually Mylers and NOT Myers.

The 2007 DOHC huskys used a different radiator for only that year. The good news is that the other years fit even though they are different.

That is very interesting - I've actually interchanged my KIA 2006 TE450 radiators with my 510 radiators quite a few times now - I will check them tonight to see how different they are.

Compared my 2006 450 and 2007 510 radiators and as best I can tell they are the same.

I need to send a rad off to Mylers so I'm going to get them to compare the one I send to the Husky rads they manufacture to see if they are the same and if they are, I'll give them a go.

So I ordered a couple of the Supercool radiators from Mylers. The mounting holes are the same as is the inlet/outlet on the top of the radiator (i.e. pointing down) but the only issue is the bottom inlet/outlet which on mine also points down but on the Myler version they point straight out. I'm hoping I can either a. use the hoses I have now without it pinching too much or b. get a right angled hose or c. fit a right-angle connector or some sort. If all else fails, Myler's say I can return them for a full refund.

I'll report back on how it goes.

Why not just send them back and have it modified for the right outlet. then you have the right product and so do they.

So it is - I have been calling it Myers for years :)

I wonder if a mod could change the title ?
Done...

I would work with them, pictures would be helpful.

Though I don't recall why, at one point in the last year I was considering having some thicker/better radiators made up - probably because some people are having over heating (and crashing) issues when trail riding in the super slow nasty stuff. We talked for a long time and decided the project was too big for me. It sounds like he followed up on the topic.
