    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Well the goons are fggin it up again. we have single tire wide tight sweeping/looping/ over rocks/ around bushes etc etc etc "test" loops and connector trails in our zone. Many of these elongated snake like trails are in close proximity to themselves....so undeciplined goons simply cut off entire 180 corners and loops in a misguided effort to get to the end of the trail "faster".......It really pisses me off big time, and whats worse is when rippin through I will even get hooked into their shit line and find myself missing a hard corner around a bush or rock. the entire idea of these "stupid" line trails are to get us outside the comfort/easy zone so when we are forced we can handle anything the race promoters and other trail bosses throw at us however uncomfortable the line my be. My rant is done....time to make a new trail with as many non adjustable hard lines as possible.
 
That's the hard part of riding in the "Open Tight"! Even in the east coast woods, we can have the same problem though.... Your trying to maximize the tight and guys will blow out cheater lines. I love where there's lots of down falls and nasty trash, to minimize this. Off camber is nice, because you can't do this much!:oldman:
 
Some folks don't appreciate a fun trail. Maybe you should post a sign with an arrow pointing the guys who might get their skirt caught in the chain to where the easy trails are. :thinking:
 
Our Rambo Rides turn in to do or die bragging rights every time we ride. Maybe we should grow up but we are stiil young and in our 60's. As a result cheater lines show up quick. More people have gotten hurt cutting the trail cheating than all other aspects, even AA riders and faster riders that come around have gone home broken.
