• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

My Strerra

Thanks for that, I had in my mind to get the Strada to look like the Terra as its much nicer IMO but found that the front 19" wheel does track well and is a complement to the front suspension.
Its a great all rounder and still I like my GS1100 as they are totally different bikes, which is nice.

Bikehunter, do think the stock low fender can be modified to fit the terra? 21 wheel
Nice job looks good.

Thanks, the front fender is close on the 19" wheel and its not as good as keeping muck off the Radiator, I think its best to check out the rolling circumference of the two wheels to see if they are nearly equal.

Plus you would require the rear bracket to mount it, I have used mine to mount the tax disc but its hard to see in these pictures

Where did you get that cap for the steering stem hole below the handle bars? I need...

Nice Job. I like it! :)
As I can see from the pictures you have an ABS version and risers mounted to get the steering bar higher.
Which length did you use or how high could you go without having too much tension on the cables and especially the brake tube when moving the bar to max left or right?

Ah no they are the standard risers, its interesting as I have a set of Renthal bars and they would be great on the bike but are an 1" longer each end and I was wondering the same about the cable length etc so do not know that answer?
