• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I like em.

They look "Powder Coated"... They will last a lot longer then having them anodized red, which would fade in a couple of month if left out in the sun.

GasGas started painting their hubs red this year too.

It's two Part epoxy paint actually. I agree with you about the anodize fading and I've heard that the metals used in cast OEM hub manufacturing don't hold up well to the temps of PC ovens, so paint was the logical choice for me.

Damn you Goose…

I can’t wait for you to put that thing back together

Once it’s all said and done (?!?) you might want to consider hiring a professional photographer and make limited run posters…
You know, something nice that young adults can put in their bedroom and old adults can put in their garage… :D

Bikeporn at its best :busted:

It looks terrific. Can we get a couple of shots of the whole bike please. Well done.

Yea, those are pics of the whole bike:applause:

I can see the 610 still has the swedish single backbone frame = very cool. Good luck withe your project and the hubs are lookin good paineted and will be easy to clean.

To me, the idea of completely stripping down the 610 is absolutely terrifying. lol. So many parts on this bike!

Anyway, the hubs look awesome! You seem to have lost your red foot pegs, though. :)

Haha, that was the first mod I ever did to this bike but they've been replaced by the more functional Fastways a year ago. How you liking 610 ownership Phoenix?

It would be great if the weather would clear to ride it! We both still prefer the 510...I guess old attachments die hard. haha

That curve looks familiar. Is that THE curve?? :)

Oh shit that made me laugh this morning, what a thing to be remembered for. :busted: No, it's not THE curve...this ones right out my back door, and also there was no one there to wheelie into.

Nope, it's a Renazco.

Where did you get that bike stand/lift?

Friend gave it to me. It says Motolift by Good Stuff Racing on the side with this number; 215 598 8240. I don't know if they're even in business anymore or how much they cost.
