• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

My hat is off to Trey Canard(TC41)

This young man has been riding very well this entire MX season, including moto 1 at Redbud ... While watching him battle KR94 for the lead in the first part of the second moto, I just had to stop create this thread to give TC41 and all those other racers on the track a big thumbs-up ... The top ~10 guys are really hanging it out on this great MX track ...

Here's a couple pics at low RES of TC41 and KR94.

KR94 (on the inside) takes the lead here over TC41 ... I remember RV2 using this same line to push past stew in the past ... RV2 adds a few comments about training with KR94 in moto 1 ... Says he sort of cross of EU and USA style riding..

Here's TC41 regaining the lead, 2 turns later going over LaRocco's Leap...What happened on the turns before the Leap? PRO MX racing, USA style.

TC41 seems to be back to the days before all his injuries happened a couple yrs ago. Myself, I'm glad to see him make a comeback to racing.

I'll add this one more pic to help give a better idea on the racing ...

Top 4 riders - ET3 and RD5 are sitting right there.

You are here on business? You are in Cebu City?

Passing through on my way to hong kong to pick up my flight back to png, the airline sends us this way so that we deadhead on the airlines own services.
Staying at the waterfront hotel.
probely do another of these trips next month.

Just get an extra day or 2 here and we can make a trip out in the province and you can get a blast of what the riding is really like here.. I've got good MED sized helmets you can use and the choice of bikes (WR250 and 010 TC250) you can pick from ... I do have boots but they are in bad shape but wearable ... Size 9, 10 ... And some old fox elbow and knee guards ...

One day of riding is good but 2 or 3 are better ... All this riding is on me as a way to welcome you to the Province of Cebu ...

Both Waterfronts (Mactan and Cebu City) are nice places I think ... I have to go there for passport stuff from time to time ... That stuff is all down in the basement under all the glitter :)
