• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

My first ride off-road with the TR650

Finally, yesterday I managed to make my first outing off-road with TR . It had to be an easy path to start, instead we have a wrong turn and we ended up in hell. The biggest fear was that the road was shut down . There were many landslides and passages to the limit. go back was impossible. Unfortunately the photos do not do it justice, but trust me they were pieces really hard . even for the specialist off-road motorcycles . however they are very happy with how he has behaved our beloved TR . The biggest surprise were the suspensions. Always neutral , the rear does not kick . The front does not discard . Really beautiful , although they are very simple they do their work. What you absolutely no good for me to drive off-road are: handlebars too low. And relationships too long. I was struggling to hold second gear . This definitely is also brought by the fact that the road were very demanding and could hardly be run. Here I leave you a bit 'of photos . PS . I put a rope to reinforce the plate and has not broken , so I'm confident that it can withstand . Take it off road ovviamete . The booster plug works wonders. Mine is also mossizzata but when it was cold was still stalling . I put the sensor as suggested by a user, then I put the photos. hello to all.

One thing I noticed .... but my bike does not have the canister? You see it? I have not taken

What is the tube for? Sorry I got lost in his translation and now realize it is for a sensor? Did he relocate the air temperature sensor?

Unfortunately they are no longer able to go off-road with our beloved bike. But revise these pictures makes me happy;)

WOW i wonder you ll be done trial zones, did you change 14 sproket??. becuase last day we intend to do a trial zone and we had to go back , too long speed ratio-.
we tried same path than your photoes but Terra too heavy and 1st gear too long. previously a cross bike have passed by.
maybe you can afford it but so many fall risk. thanks for so nice photos.

The crash-Bar is SW-Motech ;)

Hello Fer Quiles, reports are too long, in fact I did it all in first gear and second gear. If I decide to do more serious off-road certainly will change the pinion. For heavy goods vehicles to tell you .... I had a Yamaha WR450 2007 I remember those paths have made them a much simpler ... but ... I was very amazed at how the TR, although it is not a motorcycle specialistaca and is very heavy, it went well overall. I am convinced that with a couple of tire most suitable one can safely go anywhere, provided you do not want to keep gaits motorcycle specialist.
