  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

It is a prior year to the major motor re-design in the late 90's. So your first estimate of 94/95 is going to be close.

thanks wally! 120 bucks for it. the more i look at it the more i wonder why lol i think i can get it in acceptable riding shape for about another 500 or so bucks i hope.

At least you won't have to worry about putting the first scratch on it

lol unfortunately thats one of the things thats needs attention theres very little padding in that thing..... lets see need a head and probably some nuts n bolts, a piston kit, seat recussioned, brake and clutch cables the list is getting bigger

oh not at all lol i was on it tonight tryin to hang with a cpl 17 yr olds on 2strokes, doin fine but the corners are my weakness, get goin too fast to slow down and they take the inside on me. im goin to get a smaller counter sproket tomorrow and see if that helps some.....

Maybe or put a big a$$ berm on these corners and rail the outside at high speed ...

Or slide the fork tubes up some to help with your turning....

PS -- there was ~13 yr old blowing me away a few weeks back ... I need to practice with him and copy his speed ...

yes i do need burms on the corners for sure. i need to loose some weight too hahaha i bet i have a good 70 lbs and the lil skinny dudes

U got a 450, right? They need weight for traction ... Those young guys probably need to be 450 roosted a couple times and then you can gain some respect ;)

Its a 1993. Parts will be same as a 92 also. 92/93 only change was seat cover graphics and the yellow guards in 93. Motor will be same up to 97. Pipe for it is 92-93. 94-95 had criss cross pipe. I think I have a dyno port pipe for it. iterested?

joe, thanks for the info! ill have to look to see what pipe he brought with it, i cant remember what he said it was. so the years 92-97 are all interchangeable or just the engines??

No criss cross pipe on the '94... I'm looking at the Trail Rider mag trail test right now. Likr Joe and I said, it's a '93. '94 would be similar, except puke green/yellow plastic, no kevlar strip on lower seat cover and weird blue fork guards.

My '93 WXC350.....

This '93 model is the last of the single rear downtube frames? That seat looks like a seat! And its got that single locking bolt in the rear ....

The single downtube frame lives on in the 630 today and went as far as '04 in the 570. The Dzus seat fastener started with '92 models.

i was checkin the seat out last night, it appears at least from what it feels like someone hacked the hell out of it so they could touch the ground im guessing. also mine is a right kicker not left???
