  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I am loving mine. ? for you. Did you ride it before the JD and exhaust ? Curious as to what improvement the JD and exhaust made over stock. My bike is stock and the ecu is lean. I need to get it remapped but want to make sure I don't waste $.

didn't ride without the slip on, have only rode it once since fitting the header, map plugs and tuner and that was really tight single trail different to previous ride so not a real comparison. the bike has a real crisp rev to it now so can't wait to get it out on some good open trails and open it up.

on a side note the map plugs work, ride on the weekend was real tight and greasy, initially had the wild plug installed and it was a nightmare, swapped it over the the mild plug and was night and day different.

haven't made any changes to the tuner yet, just running the recommended JD settings

Is it a funnel web air filter or spider? Couldnt find a spider web filter but it sounds interesting, i have some buddies who use k&N filters but I dont think they make them for these bikes. Thanks

On the Sicass map plug, can you install a switch on the bars to swap on the fly or do you have to swap out the plug or? Bike looks great.

I see you have a rekluse like mine, I was going to try the highest engagement (all red springs I believe) and see if that helps eliminate some low speed engine breaking??? Just trying to get use to this 4 stroke and in and out of corners quicker lol!

yeah pretty sure I will get the bar mounted switch and sell the plugs, they work good but a PITA to change since you have to remove the seat.

Love the Rekluse, is my second bike to receive one
