• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

MX des Nations 2010

I'll be there. Wearing a big smile, something with the gunsite H on it, and waving a big Colorado flag! Can't wait.

Were staying in Lakewood, any good places nearby to go Sat night and get our drink on?

Ton's of places in LoDo (downtown denver) where a good time is easy to find, but that's about 15 minute drive from Lakewood. Golden is closer, and smaller with a few good bars but golden has the Coors brewery where they give you a few free beers. Ask for the short tour if you just want the free beer. We're just staying at the track since that's the most fun. Brits become more and more entertaining as the night wears on. And It's just a fun atmosphere to be around.

Seeing how you cant buy a ticket for just Sunday we will prob hang out at the track Sat night for a while. Catch some of the Euro vibe. Can you bring coolers aka drinks into the track?

I'M IN********************************************************************************! So excited and pumped........ Budd's Creek was AWESOME and I'm expecting even better from Lakewood!

Me and a buddy have plane and race tix booked.

We'll figure out lodging when we get there

The MXdN might be different, but at the national they don't want you to bring alcohol into the track. They don't do a very good job of enforcing this, and lots of people do anyway.

hey what altitude is lakewood????? maybe AC222 should ride the 450.......

The track is at about 6100 ft more or less. I sure hope Cairoli shows up this year. He was so much fun to watch in England, but definitely wasn't himself at Buds Creek a couple years ago.
