• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Scott and i do an annual snowball fight at our favorite place to ride almost every year. First one to the snow plasters the other guy. Scott will ghost ride his bike into the weeds to get you first. I snapped the above shot at the first pile of snow, when i got home and looked through the pix I realized it looked just like a bigfoot shot i have seen and this is bigfoot country.

Now I need to dig up Scott the salmon swimming up the waterfall to spon and Scotts snow angles. How about the 20 shots of your boot I have? What about the shot of you with the chilly hat. Man you are a funny F'er.

You want me to post the one of you ion the RV with you tighty whities? :D

Oh, if you show the one with the tighty whities...wow! I have seen that pic and it helps motivate me to workout.
 
Funny! That was a great ride that day. Like Scott, I've dropped some weight since that picture was taken (25#). Riding is much better now that I don't have to battle that extra weight! :thumbsup:

Mike has a house right on Big lake and keeps telling me to get up there.

Unless I make some different arangements I will be up that way next week. Maybe we can get together for a ride then:applause:

Yeah, it would be cool to hook up for a ride. I've got one of your camping chairs I need to get back to you. Don't know how I ended up with it, but I got it. ;)
