    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Hello, I'm in need of a Motoplat Dual Spark Plug Coil. I realize that these are not easy to come by. I have found one in Italy, and communication will not be easy. Is there away to just look at the Picture and tell what if it will work for me, if memory serves me right, the Black and Red Plug Wires indicate if they are internal or external Flywheel or ? I guess some are 6 volt and some are 12 volt. Ok so I'm sure the Dual Plug got your interest, it a 81 KTM 495, I had to get something to Keep my 430 XC company in the Basement.
 
I can't help with this but you can try pentonusa.org You can post on the forum or they also have a suppliers link you can try. There are a couple people there that repair motoplats and may be able to help.
 
For a dual plug Motoplat coil,try Hogans Cycle Shop {413 786 9170} in Agawam,Ma.,Hughs Bultaco in Craryville,New York.Andre Horvath,enduroklassiker.com.Most 360-370 Bultaco Pursangs and Astros from the mid 70's-up used a twin plug Motoplat system,red wire.

I read posts that do not affect me (both of my WRs are complete and run/ride) but everyone is so helpfuull with knowledge. No BS/fighting like other forums I may visit.
