• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I have gotten a lot of recent interest in the gunsight logo decals I had printed up this summer, so I placed an order for another batch of them. Please see my post in the classified section if you are interested in getting a set.

For anyone reading this for this first time and are maybe a little hesitant on purchasing these fine decals.

Jump at it ASAP.

-These decals are a great add on.
-They are very resistant to scratches and fading.
-They also hold up well to chain lube, WD 40 and other oils not diluting the adhesive.

Yes, Paypal address is the same.

Thanks for the post, Huskydude, I am glad you like them. I have found the same to be true. I put mine through hell and they still look great!

For those not around last time, these are printed up by DeCal Works.

Decals have arrived!

Those who have paid (thanks) will have theirs shipped out USPS Priority on Monday.

I still have a few sets of each color left, for those on the fence.

I was thinking of just going down to Walmart and getting a handful of black peel-n-stick 5's and 3's.

My red-on-silver set arrived today. Super nice quality. They are really going to light up my gray SM610! Thanks, I8AKTM

Thanks for the good words and you're welcome.

I think it's always nice to have a little something to freshen up the old girl in the spring. Especially when your wife hasn't been mentally worn down enough yet to allow another new bike in the garage....:D

As things sit right now, I just have a few sets of black left, unless the sale one of the few silver sets that are spoken for but not yet paid falls through.

Sorry-

I know there are a lot of the blue/yellow bikes out there, I used to have one myself. But you are only the second or third person that I can remember asking. Never had any printed up.
