• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

More AJP Stuff

Seen different specs on the US bound pr4's listed, some spec a chinese knock off mikuni pumper, others are listed with a US built Walbro. There are also different variants of the Delphi FI available, a full blown 3d ion sensing engine management like the HD's uses, or simply a stationary power plant type FI. I'd assume the later at this price point? anyone know any more?

Kelly, I sent you a note last week about interest in a pr4 for myself and a 3 for a buddy (you tried his explorer), also to let you know we'd be at DM (which isn't happening cuz of closure). The E wa dealer supposedly only received one 3, 1st bike I heard of in WA.

The US spec'ed bikes are different. The importer picked the chosed and traded things for other things after seeing the bikes and tailored them to our needs. It has the better carb. The EFI is very nice and I have a full 70 plus page document on it and how to tune and trouble shoot it. Reports are it runs very well. I will have a PR5 so I will know shortly.

- How did you send me a note as I did not see it? Are you high marker Bill? I'll send you a PNM here. If you sent me something at Thumpertalk I don't go there any more, haven't for years. thanks.

Not all that relevant to our US AJP's as thats a different motor than the PR5 or PR4. Funny test in the snow. He seemed to like it overall.
Yeah just a test of the bikes in general. I'm sure they moved up not down :). The guy even mentioned the new liquid cooled one. When are you getting your PR5? Excited to read about it in US spec other then the trail rider article I've read several times.
