• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Is 7602 Racing going to have a contest?

Is Joe Chod going to race his 83 Husky 125....??? :notworthy:

open to all ages, sizes and types.... :oldman:

Has RC dropped 20 lbs so he can fit back into that riding gear?

Is Mcgrath going to re-earn that King Title?

this looks like a fun race... I've got a date with some ice cold Heinekens and a big screeen ****************************************

Sorry T, but we (7602) won't be doing anything special for this race. The only real threats showing up are RV and Windham. About the only thing stopping RV from dominating this race is some freak occurrence.

TV schedule.

SPEED™ TV will broadcast the inaugural Monster Energy Cup live on October 15 at 10:00 p.m. ET. The lead into the live Monster Energy Cup coverage will be a one-hour season recap of 2011 Supercross – The Greatest Season Ever beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET. SPEED will deliver a total of 3.5 hours of live television coverage to the fans at home.

Clay - thanks for the channell info and times!!!

I was just kidding about putting in a contest for stuff....
What happens if RV goes down in the deep sand whoops??? snaps a Femur or similar....then who slides in to take the podium.... ? ..... I guess that might be the freak occurrence? THis track might work them a little....

Does anyone have a complete list of riders?

Any Europeans showing up?

T

Weston Peick..... I've rode at Cahuilla with his Dad now a couple of times and one of my buddy's has Weston's 2009 CRF450 Practice bike.... I have rode it a couple of times.... sweet track bike....

Jason Thomas.... does this mean we finally see a Husqvarna on a SuperCross track???

No Chad Reed?

Hummmm, RV SHOULD take the mill pretty easily BUT will he??? Kinda makes me want to tune in even more knowing that it would be KDuB or Bam-Bam with a shot to beat RV.

This should be a fun event, and could get a little cut throat and outta hand. Big cash payouts can do that, (base level human/sports/athlete instinct).
Euro riders?, meaning internationals? The OZ and Kiwi guys always get grouped here from the US view.
Metty(oz),Townley(nz), Musquin (fr), Davalos(equador) Ben Lamay (Alaska, thats another country right?).
IMHO of these guys only Musquin has a chance at glory, but keeping in mind Metty is super tough customer with loads of heart.
Maybe KTM will have more......K-Rock would be a real contender.
Bummer about Reed, Dungey and yes Stewie not coming to the show.
Remember this is a combo track layout with components of MX and SX. Dang freaking Monster is dumping boat loads of cash around in motorsports.
