  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

A Class
i have powered up the race II map and am now ready for some more mods. what should be my priority list? is the powercore 4 the pipe to go with ect.

For the engine a pipe like you suggest and a JD EFI tuner unlocks the beast and makes a bunch more power and runs better / cooler. Then your done. If you like the power as is leave it.

As for the rest of the bike and suspension is a little soft for me but works well. could be better. the stock tires need to go ASAP unless you ride 80% pavement. the seat Concepts seat is fantastic for this bike. HDB hand guards. My rotor guards and damper :D

Its a great bike as is IMHO and can only get better with whatever you choose.

Enjoy.

Repeating Motosports list.. my TXC511 has bark busters, Uptite skid plate, JD6x tuner and .... that is all except for a TM Designworks chain guide to replace the one I broke and some new S12 Michelins mounted just for the Funky Chicken (probably not what you want on a TE). On a TE I would add the Seat Concepts seat as they are great if doing more than 500 yards of sitting.

JD IMHO. Your bike is running lean and missing the top 1/3 of the rev range / power even in power up race II mode. At least thats what JD found on my bike on the dyno. It is very fast now and pulls ripping wheelies in any gear and forever. I have never been able to wheelie this well. Can pull it up at 40 and carry it seemingly forever. Love the power of this motor.
