I have a GPR V4 that I previously had on my KX250 that I wanted to mount on my '09 WR125. The "2009 WR125" kit came in and I went ahead and mounted everything with no drama. Went to put the tank on and the stupid emblem thing in front of the front mounting bolt hole sticks out too far and hits the stabilizer post.
So my questions are: Has anyone had to modify their OEM fuel tanks by heating them up? Did it melt before it became soft enough to change the shape? What did you use - heat gun or torch?
I need to get this done quickly so I can ride this weekend.
