    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Dear friends!

First of all sorry for my bad english im from Hungary.

I have a TE350 '91 and TC250 '06.

The nightmare is began at a months ago when i seen this not working TC250 2006 on Facebook marketplace.

I bought them sadly but i have to bought because really nice bike.

The problem with my tc is that not started at all. Only when you WOT 2x (AP) and try to kick have a massive kicback only and have a detonation 1x. We try to pull in 2-3 gear. Nothing at all. Im car mechanic i checked: Compression: 9.5Bar, Carb and AP is working the spark have gas on it. Timing checked. Valve clearance adjusted with shim, The ignition is powerful visionable and hearable. 3weeks ago i take to bike mechanic. The mechanic is checked everything like me and not found anything. Nobody knows what the problem is. One people say have an ignition but on wrong time. Okay but i dont found anything on the manual for adjusting ignition. I know cdi is do it this thing but maybe cdi fault??? I dont want to spend 250€ for nothing if not neccesary. Or stator maybe need adjusted? Or any full other problem not ignition? Anybody have any idea? We out of stock.

I have no idea what the problem is, just wanted to say your English is fine...much better than my Hungarian!...and I hope someone can help you with your bike.
 
Have you replaced the sparkplug? Had a similar issue with an unrelated model where the seal between the ceramic and the steel body went bad and wouldn't let the bike fire. Original plug to the bike that was about 4 years old.
