• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

some people are coming to duluth this weekend, we found a track that is perfect for a supermoto video shoot and race. its both dirt and street and we need lots of help to get it swept and some jumps built. let me know who can come up or who is in the duluth area that wants to help out and film ride etc. i would like to start on the prep on friday all day and grill etc. let me know later Brian Foster.....note the race/filming is not this weekend just prep and figuring the track out. we will ride but just to test the course layout. one last thing the course is not on the street so its as legit as it can get haha

Sweet. I would not waste to much time working on getting it to nice. About the time you get it set up the way you want, something will happen and someone will shut er down. Not sure of the guys name but when my buddy lived in Duluth he said there was this retired guy who hates anything off road that has dedicated his life to shutting things down. Sadly this is probably the same guy that spends countless hours on keeping his lawn looking perfect, while I tear the crap out of mine and get yelled at by my wife, while laughing out loud thinking I really havn't changed much since I was 12! If I had a supermoto bike I would probably be there! Have fun!

we found out who owns it, buddy who stunts in the lot in front of the place already spoke to them and the police, so things are looking great for a great riding spot haha
