    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Measurements for HWDB hand guards

I would send Paul an email he usually responds quickly. If I remember correctly, for my 310 I needed to get a top clamp and bottom clamp because they did not stock an exact match. I have seen pictures of HDB guards on 449 so I am sure it can be done.

Same here, I had to buy bottom and top clamps for my 630. He said something about the 630 clamps being asymmetrical; they won't match up with a HDB top clamp.
 
As already said you need to buy new bottoms anyways so all you really need to know is the Centre to Centre measurement of the holes for the bottom clamps in the top triples. I am going down the same route on my TXC449 so I plan on unbolting the lowers and measuring this weekend if I remember to bring a set of calipers home with me.
 
After one of the shop guys complained that I had his calipers sitting on my desk for longer than I should have; I measured tonight:

So ~93mm C-C which is a common Husky spacing and HWDB offers top clamps in this size.
 
I ordered mine yesterday, huskys have to buy the bottom clamps too, just like everybody said. Paul is not making 50mm, only 40mm.
Ill post all the right stuff when it gets here and I see if it fits.

Confirmation that I am not an idiot is always nice, will likely order up a set in the next few days.

I have a set on my 630 and all I can say is I hope you ordered the mirrors as well, they are the best feature on the handguards IMO.
 
I did get the mirrors as well as the anti vibe inserts, had a 2 1/2 rise built into the lowers and special washers for the flex bars. All in all it was about $40 USD more than getting all the components seperate from other builders.
