• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Checked the Facebook page with the layout. With the enduro cross bypass section it looks fun. What class you entering?
 
That's cool. I won't be able to attend as I'll be shredding the slopes that week with the family. But that's the class I'd enter too.

Gonna try the Ty Davis enduro section?

My memory is a little bad here... Have you did a race like this before?

The yr I tried racing here, it was hard for mew to get comfortable and feel relaxed before the race started ... Meaning the time leading up to going to the waiting area and then on to the starting line never was a comfortable time for me ... So I always wanted to get to the race area as soon as possible .. .

No, not this one. I've done the Lake Elsinore GP, but not this one. Gotta do this one.

Ditto on your comments about the waiting area and starting line.

I told the Mrs the same thing last night (ha, ha). I said, "Baby, if I don't do the EnduroCross section "The Rob" is NEVER gonna let me live it down."
 
Happy trails to both you guys and maybe you guys can share a couple moments out there somewhere and catch it on cam ... That would be too cool ...
 
that was a one shot deal....but they did say if the planets align again they may do it again......it was a tough event to present the logistics were insane. On another note all their Tractor HS events have been super fun so if they run one of those be sure to sign up.
