• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Magnificent 7

i suppose the lack of the little white space between the stripes gives em away from being orginal plus i make em a lil fatter. doesnt matter to me tho as i beat em up pretty good in the mud. the corners of the stripe are still stuck on very well which was my only worry. thanks tho!

Your thoughts on side plates?

Ready to cut!

If anyone needs a set down road they have template. Also way they are designed, they will help save plastic!

Guys! Not putting things off! Just can't get parts and I've been doing some gas tanks.

Thanx guys!

Couple of you told me to tilt the numbers and it looks a lot better that way.

Wish I had more time to get on these things but I'm traveling every week.

Then when I get home all the other stuff needs done.

Well, mrs counted bikes last night and was asking where the 6th one came from.

Just told her it was same count a year ago.

Here are the side plates done!

Think they look great!

They had to cut them couple of times for template.

Your thoughts?

:applause: on my end

Here is run at making my new foot peg springs.

Yeah! The guys gave me a bunch of imput on it and it was milled down and shaped.
We tried various colors including yellow. The vote was blue anodized with highlighted fins.

Thanx Kelly!

These pics don't even do justice to bike. You should see it out in the sun.

Got to clean shop real good this weekend and if sun is out. Try to get an outdoor shots of it.

I got couple things I need to finish for some guys and traveling will slow down some. So gonna be full steam ahead again.
