• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

A great second round result for Alex Lupino in the World MX2 Championship held at the superb Sevlievo track in Bulgaria.

After finishing in eighth place in Saturday’s qualifying sessions, Lupino put in a fairly lacklustre performance in the first race. Alex complained that he began to flag physically halfway through the race due to arm pump and was forced to slow down, finally having to settle for fourteenth place.

However, in the second race Lupino made a decisive start and managed to finish in sixth place. Thanks to this result he finishes the Bulgarian GP in tenth place overall, as he does in the world championship rider standings after two rounds.

A lacklustre performance from Larrieu who never really got into the race, hampered by a couple of bad starts.

A 6th place finish in a moto is great but hearing about arm pump each week is not ...

Huh. Maybe if he had a 2014 Husqvarna CR 250 with direct injection and a new lightweight 2 -stroke engine in and awesome lightweight frame with a Marzocchi 48 mm fork and Ohlins shock, adjustable on the fly ignition mapping, a 1 finger juice clutch, and a 216 pound dry weight he wouldn't get arm pump********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************:busted:

Maybe on that new rocket ship ....

But where's the baby? I'm tired of hearing arm pump ... All that says to me is lack of seat time ... Does he need gas money or a ride to the track?

Ha ha. Except if it was a two stroke he'd have to ride the mx1 class. Good luck with that.
Oooops jist dreaming about a super sweet Husky that I wish I could have****************************************************************************************************************************************************************!
