• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Just a quick compliment to Les at lt racing out of Washington. He re sprung my new 300and put to rest a lot of rumors or hype I've been reading on line. He re sprung my bike and assured me the forks aren't garbage. After a 15 mile test ride today I'm a very happy customer. He could have easily talked me in to valving etc but didn't. The ride is very nice! Lt Racing is a first class operation in my book.

I did the same thing last spring, re-sprung and left the valving and hoped I could leave it. The ugliness of the 4CS will rear it's head eventually. It took 62 hours before I said Uncle. Maybe you will get lucky. Enjoy the new bike, they are really good even with stock forks but in my case I decided to improve the forks after time on the seat. For the tuner to suggest leaving the forks is a good suggestion since without any significant seat time it's really hard for them to know your expectations. Nice to see they didn't take advantage of you up front.

Les did a re-valve on the Ohlins on my GasGas and he also did the 50mm Zokes and Sachs shock on my 09 WR250. He did a great job on both and was reasonably priced, I wouldn't hesitate to send him the suspension off my next bike... whatever that might be.

Les is honestly the only guy that touches my suspension and he has NEVER failed to deliver on what I asked.
From my snotty single track woods bikes, Dual Sport bikes to MX machines - I tell him what I feel, what I want and he delivers.
Another thing is as you mentioned he is a straight shooter - he wont tell you "well this is designed wrong" just so he can sell you his "special $$$ fix".
Yup, Les is good people and knows his stuff.

Les is more that's for sure!! Compliments to LTR-----
PS KTM NA issued ANOTHER recall now for 2015 Model 4CS forks.......I'm glad my 2014 4CS are no longer 4CS...... 4 Crap Shoot, now more standard set up and hardcore enduro friendly.
