• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Just got done riding there pretty cool place tons of legal trails, anyone ever ride there? I''m looking to start a group to do some relaxed trail riding.

I think that place sucks. I ride it once a year at most. There are cool spots for sure like tunnel and top of the works but that's about it. Too rocky and beat up trails.

I was there at the new location when it was fresh, and it was still all quad tarded out, huge deep mud ruts, holes, etc. Sucked for the kids on minis as you had to ride through all the quad crap at the bottom to get to anything else. Yeah the rest was rocky and hammered but it was better than lower sections! I prefer not to ride where quads are allowed if possible.

rode at AOAA in PA few weeks back worth the trip out. 25.00 a day .well marked hard to get lost lots of 2 track but there is fresh singletrack out there .

Nice on the AOAA, would like to try that, BUt Lost trails is Killed for bikes in my opinion. We have a summer place not far from there and never go because the quads have destroyed the trails!

Just had question since you pa is in conversation. Have you ever been or heard anything about hilltop lodge in emporium pa? Supposedly ex-AMA track with trails on private property, only renters of house can ride, I think. Also a link to more trail riding close by. Looks like a nice change from south jersey. Any info?

I have heard about it, however my question has always been the same, about the trails? Looks like a cool place though!

My kids and I go at least once a month and have a great time. The kids ride kx 65's and have no problem with the green and blue trails my friends and I ride orange and black trails. The quads almost never get in the way and will move over if we come upon them. Over all we have a great day and put on a lot of miles.let me know if you are going the Husky's the better.

Hmm maybe I should go again but we stop going because it was so torn up, and where we live and ride its super rocky so we are very used to the rocks. May have to try it again!
