• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Loss hydraulic oil in the engine by the clutch actuator

My orange bike did that once. A great place to get metric orings is a hydraulic shop. They have metric kits and sell individual ones for cheap. Cam.

I'm a plant engineer and our maintenance shop has just about every kind of Oring.
If not, it's off to McMasterCarr :D

I wanted to buy an ISO VG 32 oil with high viscosity index mineral.
This oil is comparable to a SAE 10 .
the best is the " Arnica 32 " , but only available in packages of 20 liters .
alternatively try to find similar oil of this type .
Mobil ATF 220
Tutela GI / A
Castrol DX2
Total fluid ATX
Tamoil 2D ATF
are all mineral-based oils
Hydraulic oil Arnica 32 is nowhere to be found in small packs. But finally i found a good mineral hydraulic oil SAE 10 alternatively

Two photo
This is also great for marzocchi forks.
It has viscosity index 169

Just checked the fluid level in the clutch reservoir today, still was full and no loss noticed since I filled it about five months and 1400 miles ago. The bike had about 8100 miles on it when I noticed the reservoir was almost empty. Bought the bike a little over one year ago when it had about 4,900 miles on it so I don't know if the clutch fluid had every been changed or added to. I used SAE 10 mineral oil (fork oil).

Will order the o-ring for the lower piston soon when I will also be ordering an o-ring for the main drive shaft (bike leaks a little oil from behind the front sprocket).
