  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

looking for a replacement fuel injector for 2014 310 txc

cncclimber

Husqvarna
AA Class
I am trying to find a replacement fuel injector for my 2014 310txc. It won't let me post in the italian section, it says I have insufficient credentials, so I am hoping this is acceptable. the electrical connector broke off of my injector, so it isn't something that is rebuildable. I have scoured every husqvarna parts place I can find, called several and had them look to see if they can find one, nobody can. I went straight to husqvarna and they can't help me. I called and emailed through their website zip-ty racing in california and they won't answer or call me back. once I did get ahold of someone, and he said he would look but never got back to me. I have tried buying some injectors off of ebay for a 2012 but it is a completely different animal. Hoping someone on here will have some ideas or suggestion. I went through the bike from top to bottom and have a ton of new parts on it, the shocks are reworked by zip ty and the computer was reflashed, it has all of about 15 hours on it and now I am looking at a paperweight unless I can retrofit something else onto it. Since they clearly don't support the bike anymore, I am not sure it is worth spending a ton of time and money on it.. Hoping I can get a new injector and ride it until it is done.

I was trying to find out how to contact Keihin and can't find anything directly. I tried contacting Marren fuel injection, but they also won't respond.

Thanks in advance.

Part number is 8000H4733 according to https://shop.italhusky.com/en/products.
@Ghostman has one on his website in europe: https://ecbike.pt/en/husqvarna-red/10056-injector-cpl-8000h4733.html

You could also search for a second hand throttle body and take the injector off...
These models should have the same injector based on the parts number;

Like these ones:

Otherwise you might find another type of donor bike when you google the Keihin number on the injector....

You got to be creative to keep these bikes running. Especially the 2011-2014 range...

THANK YOU**************************************** I looked all over and couldn't find that... I will see if he will ship that to me in the US.. I have been searching ebay and google for about a year off and on now and just kept coming up blank. I was hoping someone on this site would have some insider knowledge. I very much appreciate your time and effort putting this together. Matt.

My thought was there HAD to be a bazillion other makes and models that used this same injector, I just didn't know how to cross reference the part to see what else used it. I contacted Rocky Mountain ATV because they have an entire team/department that just cross references things and either they didn't try very hard or just completely misunderstood the assignment. they were the first place I tried since I was sure they could figure it out. and they are 20 minutes from my house.... Anyway, thanks again. I just reached out to @Ghostman and asked if he was willing to ship to US... If I need to, I will buy that one from ebay in Idaho and hope for the best.

You might reach out to Tim at Marren injection in CT. He might have replacements. Injectors is all they do. Good people.
