• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hey guys, im desperately tryig to find a 2C pipe for my 2001 CR 250. I had thr chance to buy one about 6 months back, but passed on it like a dummy. I realize there pretty rare but I know theres still a few out there not being used. I will pay quite a bit more than it would be worth. Please contact anytime with any info. Much appreciated, Joey T. Good luck on your search ... I left one in the states that I could get cloned here at a very reasonable price ... next trip back home and I'll be picking it up for my 08 WR250...

Before the ktm buyout, there was a pipe listed in the special-parts or accessories catalog, that looked an awful lot like the 2C pipe but not sure if it was that pipe or not ...

Just for fun I think the Lamson cr has one, need to give this bike the once over and bring it out for a day.Great bike awesome motor that's smooth and revs to the moon, and fantastic suspension.I will have my parts manager dig around for one of those pipes.?You never know whats hangin around this place.

Look for 2 of them ... I guess because it was built for pure racing ... It was light and would bend easily if you went over on the left side but the performance greatly superseded the other PC pipes I used at the time on that 02 CR250 you sold me ...

Bill, if I were to fly out to your shop, would you allow me to take probably like hundreds of pics of the Lamson 250? Partly because of my obsession with the bike and mostly so I can have a replica kit made of the graphics.

I have for sale a set of Pro Circuit Ti Pegs just like the Lamson bike, and a Doma pipe ,Domas work excellent.Cant part with the C2 pipe its part of the bike.

Ill check on making another kit since we have 1.

I have one installed on my 02 CR250. The stock pipe made more bottom and was probably better for the riding I do. I does run well and gained top end but did soften the bottom end. I've learned to like it but not sure if it is ideal for my use.

may the husky fever be with you mr thompson, my desires lay with a little different era of husky but i feel your burn the same. sounds like you found some good leads, good luck!

FMF Bottom 2C MX pipe top end like Kelly say's the Doma is more all around power. Less bottom then the FMF and less top then the 2C but better all around pipe if you ask me.
