• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

look who is still here!!

A bit of quick research shows me that the last non-jap win in SX big bikes, was Jimmy Ellis on a CanAm way back in '77. There may have been another since then, but it seems kinda tough to dig this info up in google searches.......I found this info on a cached 2011 AMA race program that had historical info for all the current tracks. It didn't show for any defunct tracks, so there may have been a more recent non-jap win.

If not, that's 35 years!

Even in Outdoor, it's probably been almost as long.......(except for Euro events)

Dungey looked pretty good last night but if it continues to be RV vs. Rd for the rest of the season I think Rv /Kawi is a little stronger right now. I think Dungey and the KTM will continue to improve as the season goes on and RV will have his hands full.
If Stewart ever gets his act together him and RV will get in a battle to prove who is quickest and then Dungey may ride smoothly to the championship.

How about Justin Brayton!!! He is looking pretty sporty.

RV1 is too smart to give the season away over racing an 'also runner' ... I'm sure he is aware of js7 history of crashing and taking others with him .. Besides, you don't know who is faster by now?

How about Windham? Another 100 yards and Kevin would've had 3rd... gotta love that guy.

Yep, KW seems to be on a new mission this year ....
