  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husqvarna
C Class
This bike was bought new from a buddy from another buddy's Husky shop in 2000. It has hardly been ridden. The stock front tire , chain sprokets etc are still on it and look like they did 14 years ago.
I couldn't see it scrubbed off on a cheap Craigs list add. So I bought it. Since I have no real use for it, it's going to be turned into my camping dual sport machine. Don't let that beat up pipe fool you, it came off the other shop bike, a harescramble beaten wr360. The spes pipe is still new!

im loving my 360, once you learn their odd powerband they are pretty versatile. i strongly recommend a lectron if you want it to meter fuel excellently and add a few mpg. yours is ported a bit differently than mine but i bet it pulls strong with the pipe. bike looks great in your other thread

nice find
the 99 i have has been very durable, seems like a tough engine too as my 93 lasted 10 years without doing any major work
as stated above get a Lectron, made a huge difference on my 99

Score, as stated good machines i love the handling of my 02 360 goes where you want and as fast a i can handle very capable machine. Good find.

I LIKE THAT! That stock front tire sucks too. I know because my 2000 WR250 still had the same exact stock front tire on it when I bought it!

The previous owner recovered the stock seat with a black gripper cover and it was a very bad job so I found this complete seat on ebay. I think it's an 01 seat.
