• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

We (7602) are looking for some local or semi local Husky riders who would be willing to let us use your bike to test fit some upcoming products. We are located in La Jara, which is in southern Colorado. I can handle the pickup and return of the bike so you won't have to worry about driving anywhere. Anyone willing to let us use their bike to test fit a product will receive the final production version of that product 100% free.

If anyone is willing to let us borrow your bike for a short while please PM or email me. Please let me know the year and model of your husky, where you live, and what dates work best letting us borrow your bike. Thanks a bunch guys and gals.

Haha, I was thinking a little more local than NC. I'm looking mostly for 2 strokes, 610's and new X lite motor based bikes.

If you need an 05-07 4 stroke, let me know if you'd like to arrange something :D

Hey Clay, I'm still up in Denver and if it means getting things made for the 610 you can take the bike for the winter...... it's set up with sumo wheels now but can go back and forth. SM - 17/50 TE 14,15,16/50 gearing......

I've already got a design for a case saver going, we need sharkfins, and engine case protection too.....

Out of town, but interested!

2010 Husky TE-510.

I'll give you a call when I'm back in town.

Location: c-470 and University

An update on this whole thing. I had a WR300 in here a couple of weeks ago that I was able to develop a few products for. Those should be trickling out over the next couple of months. I have a 610 in here right now, and those parts will be coming out as soon as possible.

I own a 2008 TE450 and before that a TC450 so we are pretty good on the twin cam series of engines. 250/310/450/510

If anyone in the area has a new X-lite 250 or 310 or any of the 449/511 husky's that would help the most. Thanks

Please make WR300 frame guards! And some steel wheel spacers. And maybe a case saver.
Oh... and a good shifter too.

That's all I want

I wish I was closer to let you borrow my bike, but since I can't I will at least second the motion for frame guards! :D

Dude, you must have read my mind. I was just thinking I needed to get in touch with you and give an update. We should have the rad braces back in the next week or so. So those will be the first items for the 610. We will be lumping the case savers and oil filter covers in with a huge run of other parts so those are still about 6 weeks out more or less.
