So I recently decided to Hack off the Rear license plate assembly on my 2012 TE511, before mother nature did it for me
!
I decided to go with Bike Master Spade L.E.D turn signals. They blink about twice as fast as the stock ones, but they are nice and bright!
I had to cut the wires on the stock lights, and solider the factory connectors to the new lights. If your good with solider it's simple, I used my plumbing torch and some hobby solider.

I think It turned out pretty slick!
I'm still waiting for the license plate, I'll have to find a spot when it gets here.
For anyone choosing to do something similar FYI: The Darker Blue wire on the factory connectors go to the black or ground wire on your new light. (The RT side is Dark blue and Tan, The left is dark blue and light blue. Also the nut for the light I used did not go over the factory connector, so I had to do one side twice.
Check to see if the nut your using can go over the factory connector, I had to install the lights 1st, and then solider the connectors on.
I Like the new look! When the plate gets here I'll post again. Until then, Let's hope the Po-Po give me slack for the lack of a lit up Lic. plate!
