• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Leo Vince Full Ti - How Much Louder Than Stock ?

I have my Leo Vince Ti system installed with spark arrester. It is definately a lot louder than stock pipes. But I was really surprised that it got quieter after I installed the JD tuner. I think having the correct fuel mixture helps. My TE630 now has more power everywhere, and the engine feels relax while cruising at constant speed.

I have also replaced the stock battery with a Shorai lithium-ion battery. A total of 10kgs were taken off the top. The bike new feel light and nimble off road. Highly recommended mod!

I have the half slips on mine with the inserts in and it is very quiet - I kind of like it to be honest

From what I was told on performance, it is not all that offfront the full TI and the major diff is weight - The stock cans are very heavy and the X3 cans are extremely light and the flow seems to be pretty straight with the exception of the 2nd can

In my experience with bikes and cars, a nosiy engine is an engine that is out of tune.

Yeah, to my mind two cans gotta be quieter than one.
I shoulda bought the twin slips:banghead::banghead:

Mine came on the bike and if you REALLY want the duals that bad, we can trade.....
Interesting option.
Im in South Africa so shipping will kill the deal, thanks anyway .
Anyway I think I must first install the full Ti on my bike and then finally make up my mind after I have heard it,

I bought blakebirds full Leo TI, I love it, sounds nice and I don't think it's much louder than stock at small throttle openings. Maybe the power commander helps also

A shot into the past...,Anyone still around and have the db killer insert for the single? I just bought a new 2011 Te 630 and it came withthe single and the spark arrester, and the owner knows nothing about the db killer.
