• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

LED front light!

His shop is littered with crap. Crap like trophies that say
"Baja 1000, 1st place'

He's the ONLY mechanic/shop/vehicle sales person I have EVER me whom I just trust completely.
 
Reviving an old thread here...

I order my LED light from George last week. Awesome shipping speed and talking to George he seems like a great guy. I've got it installed now and the light is a fantastic improvement over stock. Plus, with 15 watts of draw I don't have to monkey with upgrading the stator.

I've heard rumors about an additional LED light that mounts into the stock headlight mask... Looking forward to seeing that as soon as I can!

Bottom line: Get this light, and support George. I wish all moto businesses were as good as Uptite.

Can you please post pictures of the headlight installed??
 
Call George at 714 540-2920 ....pretty sure he still has LED headlights that fit my 2008 TE 250. Not sure what other year/models they will fit.
 
I put in a light from http://www.cyclopsadventuresports.com/ about a week ago. It puts out 3800 lumens and I LOVE it. I never used to like to ride at night, but this weekend I rode on Saturday and Sunday nights. It's amazing how bright and white the light is. I left it on bright the whole time and nobody has flashed me yet.
