• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

LED blinkers installed on TE630 now no blinking. What relay is plug and play

Husqvarna
AA Class
I just installed some really bright Baja Designs LED turn signals on the 630. I pretty much expected a fast flash rate but did not expect no flash at all. If you activate the turn signal switch the blinkers light up but don't blink.
Does anyone know of a plug and play turn signal relay for the TE630?
Thanks
Sethro

Any ELECTRONIC flasher relay should get them to work properly. Take yours to the local auto parts store and compare the plug with an available electronic flasher and you should be fine.

I just found the relay on the bike, it does not look like a normal relay, I will get a pic up here soon

Just an update on the blinker flasher. It was a direct plug in and installed without any drama, works wonderful.

I think my top speed is higher now also,

I had a slightly different issue. Could use some advice.

I installed the bajadesigns LED tail light on my 2008 TE 610. I then installed LED turn signals (rear & with a resistor). But when I did none of the turn signals worked (bike running). Then I went back to the original turn signals to determine whether it was perhaps the LED signals causing all signals to not work. I reinstalled the original turn signals, but still none of them work.

Any thoughts on this? I checked the 5 fuses under the left and right cover. They are all good. And the signals definitely worked before I installed the LED tail light.

To be clear- do you need one of these LED compatible relays, or two? I'm doing front and rear turn signal conversion to LED

BTW, with a LED relay, my led turn signals work as expected, but the turn signal indicator doesn't blink (it does come on)
Anybody else run into this? Not a bit deal, except that it makes it hard to realize you have been riding for miles with a blinker on :-)

Same here. There's no pulsed feedback to the dash.

Anybody know where to get the quick connectors used on the stock te630 turn signals? I'd like to wire the LED blinkers with OEM male plugs to match the females that came on the bike.

I just robbed them off of the factory indicators. A little tedious, but it works.
