• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Last Dog Standing, AMA D37, Prairie Dogs MC, Extreme Enduro (at Glen Helen)

Great event saw more Husky then any other race all year .Lots of 2 strokes also most i have seen all year in one race .I am sorrie to say i did not make the cut after round 1 i just do not understand i thought i had a good ride going .Went thru the endurocross section no trouble every time and the rest of the course was no problem .There were 98 pros experts and am in the first race and by time they took only 49 for round 2 .Hope to try again next year .As for my son Cameron on the CR125 he got 3rd
in the first race and was leading the second race in the 0 to 200 class thru check 5 of 8 when he hit a g out and hurt his hand ending his day .The CR125 was working great in all parts of the course .
The club really did a super job and i hope they have more of these events there .We got to ride in places i did not know were there super tight stuff .
There are lots of videos at www.district37ama.org plus blogs and stories of the race .I saw many a ridder with a gopro on so as time goes on there will be more flim posted .

Husky had a great present finishing 2nd with Graffunder and 6th with Jones overall.Plus many other Husky finished .This race with the 3 race fomat each one getting tuffer is like the Last Man Standing events you see in Europe

I think there were a total of 4 huskys that finished all three loops. In addition to Graffunder and Jones, Robert Baehr (WR250) was 16th and I (WR250-Brent Farrell) was 18th. It was a tough day but a lot of fun. I was pretty much wiped out at the start of the last round, but I just kept moving and focused on trying to be smooth through the obstacles and managed to make it to the checkers. Now that a few days have gone by, I'm starting to think about next year.

that does look gnarly, my pc froze up halfway through the vid where i seen 2 guys tryin to push a bike over what appear to be a big... propane tank???

This is brilliant, its a good one. dont see that very often.

hey the story behind that push over the obstacle is that the guy killed his kx very near the finish and some other riders helped him get the dead bike to the finish line.

ps I that is Ajax in the Red/Yel leaving in the exp line (late dang it!!)

No that is me dead center next to the Kaw rider with the orange helmet He is also the winner of that race .I started in netural then put it in gear was about mid pack first turn .

This is just some random vid of the qualifier 1....I have no idea who this is...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nq80QbPa6RA&NR=1

someone on a Husky about 17:40 getting passed by the dude on theYammie... he only seemed to struggle in the small rock section...

It appears from the video that Qualifier 1 used most of the elements of the World GP Mx layout as well as the truck track and the endurocross section down by the Sheriffs training center... also most of the SRA GP MX track sections and Ridgelines as well. For those of you that did the Husky Demo ride it included most of that as well....

Have to put this on the table for next year... Qualifier 1 did not look that bad....in fact it looked like a whole lot of fun...

Rob... you and I have seen most of this stuff in the SRA GP MX's...

Good Stuff****************************************
