• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

T true this is right up my alley (to class win??? not even a chance),,,,,,
I am not in, I all ready had a fishing trip planned with my office crew for Fri afternoon-into night. no way to get up at 04 drive up then try to ride the technicals, i know my limitations no hard stuff unless a full nights sleep, my balance/judgement gets super sketchy with less any than 6 hrs.
Ajax best of show and take your time into the tough stuff to assess it (but you know that) then agro the stuff. Hope for not too many bottle necks. torque and clutch are your friends. "solid rocks are your friends" Davide Trolli. (full traction). put on good rubber for this one (not those Dez/baja things) and run low pressure.

This has to be the last race for the poor little 125 It is a 2008 and has never had the lower end open
still on the original clutch. George wants to rebuild it and go 167 so lets see if she has one more in her
i will be on the CR 300 if the WR 250 had the brakes of the 300 i would race the 250 so we will see.
Just have to be in the top 50% overall to beable to move on to round 2 then you have to be in the top 50% of your class to move on to round 3. Should be a lot of fun

2 National champships in 2 different classes Many wins in both the regular 125 a class and open over 50 a .Plus last weeken 2 wins in the 200 class plus some night racing all on the original non rebuilt lower end and original clutch you tell me why it is still going strong.Just one more race and it has to get a rebuild

bet the competition is getting tired of seeing that old husky up front all the time and eatin' its roost "damn i wish he'd get a new bike im tired of losing to that old thing" hahaha

good job man ya got a lot to be proud of...
