  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I've been watching a VID where RC4 explains how easy it is to do a whip ...Your pic here looks very close to what RC4 was explaining ...Can you explain how you got the bike like that in the air and how did you land it?

Gotta watch now for repeating myself on the same thread :(

Man I get all longing for my '01 back every time one of you guys posts a picture of one of these underrated, fabulous machines. I'd race one now and know I'd lay waste with it as hard or harder than my 12 144 does, just like it used to. It's the bike I regret selling the most and I've had a lot of them. Great bike, I'd love to get one and put the KYB48's on it, the forks were the only thing I wasn't in love with.

That bike looks like a 2001 works bike! Very nice. What is the year/model of that front fender? I need something like that.

80D0 73395
front fender from 00-02 and possibly more
put the same one on my 93 and my 99
love the look

Will be perfect on my street plated 1983 430 WR. I've put a disc brake Marzocchi 45 front end on it, from this era (I think it's actually from an 04). Need to see if I can get one in white.
