  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Just received my new TE 449 !!

Great videos, fantastic bike and a rider who knows how to get the most out of a TE449...... have a round of a applause from me Petros :applause:......and promise to keep them videos coming :thumbsup:

I am looking forword to change my TE250 2010 with 449 2011 i thing its grate bike and i ride it once from the dealer in Thessaloniki

Bravo asterios , yes go for the 449 , you will not regret it.
I live in Athens and I bought the bike fm Husky dealer << Super bikes >> Stelios fm Thessaloniki .....
he is a really good guy to deal with.
You are lucky to own a Husky and live near his shop.

Hi Petros nice video looks like you live close to town ,bike looks great imstill waiting for my new 449 to arrive :-( monday afternoon they say :-) I must get a video camera to film an adventure .I went to spain a couple of times and put a video on youtube http://youtu.be/eP7h2oL0O00 it was great fun also Italy and France is it difficult to ride in Greece?

As it goes for riding in Greece .... you have to get used to dry dusty tracks as it does not rain **************************************** at least in Athens where I'm located.....

wooohooo my bike has arrived !!Late in the day so straight into the workshop lose the mirrors ,indicators ,No plate hanger and chain guard adjust the handlebars and levers install mitchelin mousses in used tyres and hand guards ready to sort suspension tomorrow.then ready to race.suspension feels a little solid at the back just sitting on it in the shop see how it performs for my style.cant really wait ,its a long time since ive been so exited about a bike .Theres a competition on the 5 of febuarycalled the snow run and the last time i rode it in the vets class i was lucky enough to win it,5 years later and a little argument with cancer im thinking ill give it a go

Yeah what the heck , train some and get used to this superb bike you got and participate on the snow run competition if not you might regret it after. do you use snow spokes on tires on this race ???

My bike felt much better at standing position when I put handle bar risers as I'm 1,86 height.
With some tweeking to my riding stylr my rear suspension swallows everything up , its the best rear suspension i've ever rode on dirt ,
of course my other bike rear suspension is a KTM PDS ugh ... ugh... but two stroke :thumbsup:

The two strokes are not being ridden either. I thinking the 449 is going more towards trail riding rather then racing. Your 2011 bike maybe more of a racer then the 2012 bike. Its odd when the 449 and 511, or wr300 in my opinion should be ridden this season by atleast one top rider and when juha was winning on the bmw450x in 2009 the engine was proved as a winner along with the chassis.
