  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

125-200cc Just joined Club Lectron

Just rode 50+ miles of single track today on my lectron powered 125 and it ran perfect,couldn't ask for any more,you're going to be happy.

Idacurt, a lot of the feedback here have been very positive, so I bit the bullet and joined the club.
I don't think I've got the patience left in me to deal with the sensitive TMXx. Hahaha
 
It may take a LITTLE tweaking in the beginning, but once you get it dialed :thumbsup:.

Mine runs great as is, but I am 3.5 turns out on the PJ, so I have the new MS3 rod and shorter PJ tube to try this week. You ordered yours at a good time, and yours should be equipped with this stock... Hope you love it as much as I love mine!
 
If I had it to do again I would install the cable and get that adjustment right, and then install the lectron or vise-versa.
I am overjoyed with the difference from the tmx. EZ starts, smooth idle, no more spooge, and higher revving top end.
 
I am very happy with mine also. No spooge,starts and runs great. The only adjustment I have had to make after getting the carb dialed is to the idle screw once in a while for extreme temp/ alt. changes. :thumbsup:

I can hardly wait for the Lectron and cable to get here. Also still waiting for bearing tools too. I've got my Fatty and TC2 sitting on the workbench, so once the other goodies and tools get here the fun will begin!
