• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I Been browsing for a husqvarna 500cc 2t cr bike. I added a honda and kawasaki 500cc bikes To my list. Im browsing bug in no hurry right now. My question is does 2,400 sound ok for a honda cr 500?

Depends on the condition of the bike. I've seen a few on CL but they were asking 3-4 K. Good luck in your search.

Just for fun I looked at Cycle Trader. Always easier spending somebody else's money...anyway, the selection sucks. I mean it was never super great for used bikes, but it's mostly dealer crap. I bet craigslist is better...

If you are willing to shop So Cal I just found 4 Honda Cr 500s for 1900-3k Even found a deal for a CR 500 and 250 together for 3k all '94 and newer...yep I'm stuck at work and trying to pass the time.

I found some husky 500 parts. This adds another rolling frame to my list. Maybe I'm on the fence.

My son said having a husqvarna 250, 390, 430 & 500 would be neat plus a newer 125 cr to throw around. I wicked a new 99 125 cr and it was really snotty.

I have to say the Husqvarna 99 125 cr ripped like my 79 390cr did(wheel spin) I was impressed how the little bore hit. now the newer ones are better right.
