    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

so it begins . have to get the 500 and the 360 back together .

the 22nd year this even has been run . you may have seen it in the VMX magazine in near the begining

will be taking the 82 500 the 76 360 and the tm400 this year . the two huskies will need a few evenings thrown at them though .
they were both were ridable . 500 is getting a dulux overhaul . 360 needed new crank cases.

Very nice, good luck. Is that a Triumph Cub with the plunger rear suspension? Forgive me for saying so, but that TM400 Cyclone scares me. :eek:
 
i think the tiger cub was a trials one . this one is a terrier .think it was before the cub . it normally has a headlight and stuff . we still have all that . but it looks better as a "scrambler "

the tm400 is a actually quite pleasant to ride. really doesnt live up to the hype . my being on the larger side prolly helps . after the first year they dropped the compression a whole lot and they were only 36 hp . and this one has a 36 or 38 mm ( cant remember , bigger than stock) carb on it which i think has tamed it down a bit .
the only real complaint is the front half of the seat is useless although dad has had 3 goes at making it better with home sourced foams etc lol
that and the gear shift needs to be an inch longer for modern boots . and the back brake is touchier than most but meh

funny it wouldnt start with one float upside down
the chainsaw decomp in the barrel is the ticket . can kick start it easily now , not seated tho
